Tattoos and Piercing

Hi Everyone,
I haven't done a post in like forever but I have been really busy with my upcoming college exam and other stuff.

Well any how thought I would do a little post about my tattoos and piercings.
I have 5 piercings and 2 tattoos, and my love for body art started when I was just a child. I got my first piercing when I was 4(my ear) and I've had a love affair with needles ever since haha

My Piercings           

           

My Labret(Lip) I had this done in Sept 2010. Wasn't at all painful and isn't irratating or anything as the back of the Barbell is flat and kind of under your teeth. Cost me €50 to get done including the mouthwash and saline solution(to wash the outside). Heals in about 2 weeks. When fully healed you can usually go back to the shop and get a smaller bar fitted but I prefer the longer bar. :)

Ear lobes both done with a gun in a beauty salon and wern't sore at all, well what I can remember I got the first one done when I was 4 and the second when I was about 7. Only in the last few months I started to wear a barbell in them. The second one I had to reopen myself and that was more painful than getting it done. The top of my Ear with the white stud wasn't painful to get done, however it takes ages to heal and it is really irritating if you have a stud in it an lie on it. I have it done since I was ten and it took about 2years to heal properly. I now always wear a stud with a flat back so it isn't sore when I lie on it. 

Eye Brow. I had my eyebrow done when I was 12 and it is still in. Sometimes the eyebrow bar grows out between 6months-2 years luckily mine didn't and I still have it in almost 6 years later. I barely even notice it anymore but sometimes it might get caught when putting a t-shirt or something on. It takes about 3-4 weeks to heal(depends on how well you look after it) When I got it done I was told just to wash it using salt and boiled water.

I would like to get more piercings soon, was thinking about getting my tounge pierced for ages but decided against it as it would really irritate me, Plus the bar can chip ur teeth etc.

I might get my nipple done or might get a dermal piercing not sure yet I want to stretch my ear lobes to about 2mm any bigger I dont really like  :P

My Tattoos

I only have 2 tattoos but only got my first one in August and my second one in February and I am sure there will be alot more to come :D. Like most people I was very nervous about getting a tattoo, sure who wouldn't be nervous its needles entering ur skin really really fast haha. But was nothing like I imagined. If I was to compare it to anything I would probably say its like getting a tweezers and plucking hair and thats only the outline, the colouring and shading is nothing.

Tattoo No.1

This is my tattoo of my Star Sign CANCER symbol with 2 stars either side. Its in the middle of my shoulders

I do kind of believe in astrological stuff so thats why I got my Star Sign :P

I also got 4 stars added, these stars represent the four women in my life. My mother and 3 sisters.

Tattoo No.2

This is my swallow with a Cancer ribbon on its tail. I liked the design of the swallow and added the tail myself. I got a swallow because it symbolises freedom and I added the cancer ribbon because I lost my Godfather to Cancer in June 2011. So I thought the Idea would be nice to remember him by. 

I'm not really sure which was the sorest lol.. Tattoo No.2 was more annoying to get as my leg just kept twitching and I couldn't help it. LOL

Well if your considering a piercing or tattoo I would recommend it, just make sure

1. Your getting something you won't regret

2. Your getting the tattoo somewhere respectable(e.g. not ur face or neck or hand)

3. You go to a good hygienic licensed professional.(not someone in your kitchen) and check out their previous work aswel.

4. Make sure you are going to dedicate time to aftercare.(Wash tattoo every 3 hours and apply Bephantum Nappy Rash Cream(works the best), Wrap in cling film, this has to be done every 3 hours for the first 7 days, then on the eight day use E45, plus do not scratch ur new tattoo or go swimming or use fake tan) Different shops will have different aftercare advice just follow it, don't listen to friends.

5. When getting a piercing make sure ur piercer is clean, and that all piercing tools are sterilised or taken from new packaging.

My Little Aftershave Collection =D

So its coming up to Christmas and I just know I am going to get Aftershaves as presents, so I thought I would just do a quick blog about the Aftershaves I have already also sharing with you my thoughts on them.

I don't have a huge collection and most of my Aftershaves are actually Rip Offs of the real brand ones, but in Recessionary times do will really need or can we afford designer labels?

Anyway Here is My Collection

My Collection Consists of 8 Aftershaves

Here is a list of them and what I think about them

1) This is one called Open Road, I haven't a clue were I got it from. Its in a very Large bottle so I presume it is a Rip Off of something. However it does smell nice and as you can see I use it quite often =D

2) I think this one is another RipOff because I have never heard of any one called David Banks. Its Called David Banks life and my mother got it off one of my cousins who was selling them. It does smell okay but it is quite musky which I don't really like. The bottle is still quite full.

3) Now this is my favourite as you can see(kinda) the bottle is nearly empty. This is VERSACE The Dreamer. It is an abosolute favourite of mine and smells lovely, would make a great present for a Husband, Boyfriend, Son etc....I must put it on my Santa List =D

4) This is a 75ml bottle of ISSEY MIYAKE which my mother bought for me. I wear it some of the time but is a real day time aftershave(yes there are aftershaves and perfumes for different time of the day). I would recommend it for a birthday or christmas present, it is quite nice but I have kind of grew out of it =D. 

5) This is Intimately YOURS Beckham(David) there is also I female one. I got this aftershave last Christmas as a present from my sister and it is actually a suprisingly nice scent. However it is quite a sweet smelling aftershave and could pass for a Womans Perfume(My mother usually robs a few sprays of it)

6) This is DAVID BECKHAM instinct. I also got this last Christmas off my mother. This one has a more masculine smell to it and is also a suprisingly nice scent. If buying a BECKHAM  aftershave for a man I would recommend this one because Intimately YOURS smells like a perfume. 

7) Now this is another Rip Off or it might be a LIDL brand I'm not sure, its called BUZZ Emotion. This Aftershave is actually very nice, and if it is a Lidls Brand I would recommend if you are looking to save money on presents this year that you should consider buying it because it does smell very nice indeed. =D

8) This is a Rip Off also, probably a Rip Off of HUGO BOSS well so I think because its called NEW EGO ??? It could also be a LIDL Brand. Personally it does smell very nice and I would also recommend it to the people who are pinching the pennys this year.

Okay so basically thats a quick blog about my Aftershaves and a few little recommendations.

My RED Experience

Dying your hair and changing the is just another regular modern thing do to.. YEAH YEAH YEAH , people have been dying their hair for centuries but it just wasn't the same as today. We change the Colour and Style because it does give us a new edgy look or even a different persona kind of =S..  Personally from my experience it makes you feel better about yourself, for a short time anyway.

However dying can sometimes be more embarrassing for some people i.e. the blonde bombshell going wrong and turning Ginger or in some cases Green.

I dyed my hair in the past and personally I enjoyed the experience because it was such a change from my natural dull medium brown hair. This time last year I went RED. I just thought it would be cool to be Red and also I did follow the woman who made it a big thing over the last year,  Rihanna, I know I'm male but I just love her =D So why not copy the woman's hair colour and yeah I did try copy the style also lol turned out Crap ooops :-(.

I am really just reminiscing here =D

 I used Schwarzkopf Live Colour  XXL 35 Real Red and I didn't bleach my hair or anything before it. (I think Schwarzkopf hair dying products contain Henna so if you are allergic to Henna don't use it) 

The dye was surprisingly long lasting. I thought I would be ORANGE  after the first wash, but it did last about 7 weeks before fading and I wash my hair nearly everyday. However if you use an anti-dandruff shampoo I believe it does strip the colour from your hair. At the time I was using two different Shampoos and conditioners, VO5 Elixir Shampoo and conditioner(I think it was the Elixir shampoo and conditioner 2in1 and I was only using it because it was on offer at the time) and I used Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo and Conditioner(Smells Nice plus makes your hair appear shinier and makes the red more Vibrant)

So basically that was my RED hair experience and it was short lived. I had put in a brown dye over the Red in the end because I got a job interview and I don't think RED hair and facial piercings would of really made a good impression.
